The annual awards presentation was held at the Pacific Contact booking conference and tradeshow from March 26-28, 2010, in Burnaby, British Columbia. The Outerbridges’ business agent Cameron Smillie, and booking representative Carolynn Clark, were in attendance to accept the award on their behalf.

“Nominations for Touring Artist of The Year were made from member presenters and the award is presented to an artist who toured BC within the past year, demonstrates artistic excellence in their discipline and the highest degree of professionalism in touring,” said the BC Touring Council.

“We are extremely honoured to receive this award,” said Marion. THE TIME CAPSULE TOUR

From the minds of Canada’s most popular touring illusionists comes a brand new show, The Time Capsule Tour. Ted and Marion Outerbridge have taken the art of illusion to new heights by combining it with dance, theatre, and day-to-day life – and the results are so memorable, you will want to put them in a time capsule! Audiences and presenters alike have embraced the Outerbridges for their originality, solid track record, and pure magical entertainment.

What would you put in a time capsule?

One of the highlights of The Time Capsule Tour is the prediction of the contents of a time capsule at each performance venue.

The Outerbridges predict the contents of a time capsule and lock the prediction in a metal chest. The chest is shipped to theatres several months prior to the performance. On the evening of the performance, randomly-selected audience members decide what items the time capsule should contain. When the time capsule is opened, the contents match!

The Outerbridges’ world-class illusion show has played to sold-out houses and standing ovations from coast to coast and in Europe. Don’t miss this masterfully orchestrated, high-energy magical adventure filled with breathtaking new illusions.
