The show, he said, is inspired by one of the rare books in his library, an original edition of Discoverie of Witchcraft, written in 1584 by Reginald Scott, which revealed for the first time how illusions are performed.

Magical Moments in Time combines comedy and mind bending illusions for a bewitching and hilarious evening of entertainment.

The remarkable pair played to a sell-out audience during their last performance at the Centre in 2004. Performing professionally since 1983, Ted Outerbridge has delighted audiences in over 100 cities from coast to coast, and has been featured in theatres on both sides of the Atlantic. He has done everything from making Fortune 500 executives appear onstage to consulting for the Cirque du Soleil. He has made over 75 television appearances including on the Discovery Channel.
Acclaimed for his innovative style, he was named Stage Magician of the Year in 1996, and he won the coveted Tom Auburn Award for magical excellence in 1977.
He was also chosen by the Canadian Embassy to represent Canada internationally.
Born in Düsseldorf, Germany , Marion Outerbridge came to Montreal in 1993 to join the Ensemble National de Folklore les Sortilèges. In 1998, she worked as assistant choreographer for the Salzburg State Theater production of Tango de Amor. Upon her return to Canada in 1999, she joined the Ted Outerbridge Magician Extraordinaire show. A dancer in constant demand, she has performed in numerous Canadian productions from Nostalgie to We’ve Got Magic and Country 2000. She has appeared in several feature films, including The Whole Nine Yards with Bruce Willis in 1999 and 2001, A Space Travesty with Leslie Neilson.
