In an interview with The Montreal Gazette reporter Victor Schukov, Ted and Marion discuss how they have spent the last 13 years together designing, creating and touring the world with Canada's most popular illusion show.
Last year the Outerbridges had the privilege of giving four sold-out performances at the Bermuda Festival of the Performing Arts. During their stay in Bermuda, they also participated in an Outreach Programme for the Festival, designed to foster an interest in and appreciation of the arts. The Outerbridges gave a special performance for school students which concluded with a Q&A period, as well as a "hands-on" magic workshop. Check out the video here.

Ted is looking forward to attending the 24th annual CAPACOA conference held at Le Méridien King Edward Hotel in Toronto, Ontario, November 4-7, 2011. The conference is a four-day gathering of members and stakeholders from the national and international touring performing arts sector, with an emphasis on professional development, networking, and advocacy. The conference brings together over 200 cultural entrepreneurs and key industry stakeholders working in the national and International performing arts sector.
Ted and Marion Outerbridge received a standing ovation from an enthusiastic audience at the Chrysler Theatre this evening. Part of the proceeds from the performance went to the Windsor Regional Hospital's Cornerstone of Caring campaign and to promote the show, Ted levitated Marion in front of the new facility. The results made the front page of the Windsor Star. Ted and Marion also had a great time on AM800 CKLW with host Arms Bumanlag where Ted managed to get psychically involved with an AM800 listener. Ted and Marion have been selected to entertain at Canada's only LPGA event this season, the CN Canadian Women's Open. The event will be held at Hillsdale Golf and Country Club in Mirabel, Quebec from August 22nd to the 28th.

In 2010, Ted and Marion were the first magicians to be awarded the BC Touring Council’s "Touring Artist of the Year" award. This year at Pacific Contact, they were on hand with business agent Cameron Smillie to congratulate the Touring Artists of the Year for 2011, Julia Mackey and Dirk Van Stralen, who produce Jake’s Gift.
Outerbridge – The Time Capsule Tour made its U.S. debut in the Pacific Northwest, with performances in Redmond, Oregon, and at the Performing Arts Center of Wenatchee, Washington. The results were standing ovations and return bookings.

Ted and Marion made an appearance at the L'Oréal Paris national sales meeting. Ted demonstrated how he thinks outside the box by vanishing from inside a box on the stage and reappearing on the other side of the room, along with the new L'Oréal Paris cosmetics wall.

Outerbridge – The Time Capsule Tour kicks off today with a tour of Canada, the US, and Bermuda. The Outerbridges, along with their crew and 10,000 pounds of props and equipment, will spend the next four months on the road. "We love to be on the road. When we are on tour we never want to go home" commented Marion.

“The Museum of Time” is the opening piece in Ted and Marion’s show. Marion plays the role of a burglar breaking into the “Museum of Time”. Although Ted attempts to stop her, she vanishes with a large hourglass. You just can’t stop the time from disappearing! Watch it here.
For two months at the beginning of each year, Bermuda becomes an international hub for entertainment at the Bermuda Festival of the Performing Arts.
The Outerbridges were invited to bring their Time Capsule Tour show to the festival on February 4 and 5, 2011.
The summer edition of the ACTRA Montreal Grapevine, published by the Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists, congratulates the Outerbridges on their recent Touring Artist of the Year Award from the BC Touring Council.
After more than 30,000 km (18,000 miles) of driving and over five months on the road for the Outerbridge - Magical Moments in Time tour, Ted and Marion are now on vacation in Dusseldorf, Germany. They always blend in with the locals.
Ted, Marion, and Zelda the Psychic Weather Chicken were interviewed on radio station Ocean 100 in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island by Kirk and Kerri Wynne. Zelda once again successfully predicted the weather! Watch it here.
Ted and Marion performed their signature levitation outside the Confederation Centre of the Arts in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. The illusion was performed for local and national media to promote their April 16 performance on the island. The Outerbridges sold out the 1100 seat venue on their two previous visits.
Ted and Marion are pleased to announce that they are the recipients of the BC Touring Council’s 2010 Touring Artist of the Year Award. The annual awards presentation was held at the Pacific Contact booking conference and tradeshow from March 26-28, 2010, in Burnaby, British Columbia. The Outerbridges’ business agent Cameron Smillie, and booking representative Carolynn Clark, were in attendance to accept the award on their behalf.
“Nominations for Touring Artist of The Year were made from member presenters and the award is presented to an artist who toured BC within the past year, demonstrates artistic excellence in their discipline and the highest degree of professionalism in touring,” said the BC Touring Council.
“We are extremely honoured to receive this award,” said Marion. Ted added, “We have been touring annually in BC since 2006 with our Outerbridge – Magical Moments in Time show and we are delighted that our performances have been so well received. Many theatres have presented our show two or three times.”
Outerbridge – Magical Moments in Time played to a full house at the Prince of Wales Auditorium in Assiniboia, SK. The Assiniboia Times reviewed the performance.
For the second time, Ted and Marion have been nominated for the British Columbia Touring Council's Artist of the Year award. To qualify, artists must demonstrate artistic excellence in their discipline and the highest degree of professionalism in touring.

Ted and Marion arrived at the River Run Centre in Guelph, Ontario this week for rehearsals of the Outerbridge – Magical Moments in Time show. Their team loaded the show's 10,000 pounds of props and equipment into the theatre and spent the week teching the show. The Outerbridge's four-month, coast-to-coast tour kicks off on Saturday, January 9 at this prestigious 785-seat venue.

In 2011 Ted and Marion Outerbridge will be touring with a new show, Outerbridge – The Time Capsule Tour, with new posters, photos, and key artwork. One of the highlights of the new show will be a prediction of the contents of a time capsule for each theatre.
What would you put in a time capsule?
Several months before their performance at a theatre, the Outerbridges will predict the contents of a time capsule, lock the prediction in a metal chest, and ship the chest for display in the theatre lobby or another public place. On the evening of the performance, randomly-selected audience members will decide what items the time capsule should contain. Then the local mayor or another public figure will open the time capsule, and the contents will match!
Ted and Marion are thrilled to announce that Cameron Smillie now represents them as Business Agent. Cameron is now in charge of negotiations and contracts for all Outerbridge performances. Cameron provides marketing services to a range of clients including Ballet Jorgen Canada, the Brampton Arts Council and the Royal Winnipeg Ballet.
Following their coast-to-coast tour of Canada in February 2011, Ted and Marion will tour the northwestern United States from March 8-20, 2011.

The 29th Annual Northwest Booking Conference will be the largest gathering of artists, their management and presenters of the performing arts in the region.
In 2009 hundreds of participants from the Northwest and beyond will attend the conference in Boise, Idaho, October 12-15, 2009.

Ontario Contact is an annual opportunity for those working in the performing arts field to come together. It gives presenters, artists, artist agents and managers time to network, to discover new work, to be introduced to best practices and to do business.
Ted and Marion Outerbridge will be performing in the Shrine Fantasy Show Tour, touring British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan from December 2 to 19, 2009.
